Check a tenant's right to rent share code from your own software. The API returns the Home Office result as JSON, with the tenant's photo, the end date of their permission and the Home Office PDF.

What is a right to rent share code?
A 9 character code a tenant creates on gov.uk to prove their right to rent in England. You check it together with their date of birth.
Is there a Home Office right to rent API?
No. The Home Office check is a web page at gov.uk/view-right-to-rent. Check Share Code runs that check and returns the result as JSON.
What does a right to rent check show?
Whether the person has a right to rent, whether it is time limited, their name and photo, the date their permission ends and a Home Office reference.
Who has to do right to rent checks?
Landlords and letting agents in England, for every adult who will live in the property.
